This is an adult video from 1992 that was not on TMDB. I have added it to TMDB. It takes several hours for newly updated data to appear in the searches, so please be patient, this will appear soon. My TMDB edits to date: 5,228
22-Oct-2026tt4724348Most Haunted Live at Halloween: Jack the Ripper - Day 1
This caused a "movie not found" error.
This series is on TMDB but it was missing IMDB numbers. It is also one of those confusing differences between IMDB and TMDB because TMDB sees all the Most Haunted Live! episodes as a seperate series to Most Haunted. This makes the tedious job of adding IMDB numbers to each episode even more tedious. However, I have added IMDB number tt4724348 and it will show up in search soon. I have added other Most Haunted and Most Haunted Live IMDB numbers and will do more, though it is tedious work. It takes several hours for newly updated data to appear in the searches, so please be patient, this will appear soon. My TMDB edits to date: 5,097
21-Oct-2026tt0148754The Decline and Fall of Lacey Bodine
This caused a "movie not found" error.
This is an X rated video that does have an entry on TMDB. Curiously it did have an IMDB number that redirects on IMDB to this movie if searched on IMDB. It seems the IMDB of this title has changed at some time to the current tt0148754. I have updated the TMDB entry to this number. It takes several hours for newly updated data to appear in the searches, so please be patient, this will appear soon. My TMDB edits to date: 4,987

This is not a valid IMDB number.

This caused a "movie not found" error.
This is a series with 50 episodes which TMDB has an entry for and insists on it being a movie title with 50 videos. I tried adding the tt20767570 IMDB number to this title but that option is currently locked, preventing any editing. I have reported this as an issue but unfortunately TMDB can take a very long time to respond to any such reports.

This caused a "movie not found" error.
This is a series that IMDB and TMDB see very differently. IMDB has one IMDB number for the series and that having four seasons. TMDB does not recognise that series IMDB number and instead sees each season as a different series. Searching for tt13207736 will now bring up the following message. TMDB has each season as a different series. So, search for an episode in each season to download that season. tt13299456 for S1, tt27655087 for S2, tt31858291 for S3 and tt37538664 for S4 My TMDB edits to date: 4,922

10-Sep-2026 tt0148764Sexual Power
This caused a "movie not found" error.
This is a 1988 adult movie that was not yet on TMDB. I have added it to TMDB with cast, crew, keywords, genre and production company. I could not add any movie poster because that is nowhere to be found online as far as I can see. It takes several hours for newly updated data to appear in the searches, so please be patient, this will appear soon. My TMDB edits to date: 4,921

I have also added the few crew mentioned on IMDB because TMDB had no crew. It takes several hours for newly updated data to appear in the searches, so please be patient, this will appear soon. Hidamari Sketch does have a TMDB listing but I had to add this as Season 5. Searching for this will now bring up the main Hidamari Sketch listing and prompt you to download Season 5 for these episodes. As always, it takes TMDB some hours to update the results from searches, so please be patient and Season 5 should show up in the list some time soon. My TMDB edits to date: 4,711
1-Aug-2026 tt0393044Anal Encounters: The Beginning of the End
This caused a "movie not found" error.
It was not easy to find this on TMDB because other similarly named movies showed up in the search. The first video in that list, however, did not have the director William Black that you would expect for this title, nor the year 1991. So, I searched for William Black and found this title - https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/1177299-anal-encounters-1-the-beginning-of-the-end
It had no IMDB number assigned to it, so I have added that. It will take time for this to show up in searches but it should work soon.

15-Jul-2026 tt0041015Cavalcade Of The Stars
This caused a "movie not found" error. Update 17th July: I have now added all 48 episodes for season three that are listed on IMDB.

15-Jul-2026 tt0041015Cavalcade Of The Stars

15-Jul-2026 tt0041015Cavalcade Of The Stars
This caused a "movie not found" error. Update 17th July: This has three seasons on IMDB but only had season 2 on TMDB and only one episode which was incorrectly labelled as season finale. The series was locked, stopping me from adding the other two seasons, but I managed to fix that. So, seasons 1, 2 and 3 are now there and I have added all 49 episodes to season 2.

16-Jul-2026 tt0044272The Jackie Gleason Show
A similar "no episodes found" error to the one that was logged yesterday. I have been adding episodes since that error and today the error reported no episodes found for seasons 6, 7 and 8, whereas yesterday it was also seasons 2, 4 and 5 with no episodes. As I noted below, it takes time for me to add the episodes and then takes time for TMDB to register the updates so that they will show up on the searches. My TMDB edits to date: 3,045
15-Jul-2026 tt0044272The Jackie Gleason Show
Update: 16th July 2026
I have now added 20 episodes for season 8 from the 1966-1970 era.
PLEASE NOTE - it takes time for these updates to be registered by the TMDB API. It probably takes a few hours to a day but these episodes will start to be returned by the TMDB search that 9th Life makes at some time in the near future. My TMDB edits to date: 3,040
15-Jul-2026 tt0044272The Jackie Gleason Show
Update: 16th July 2026
I have now added 22 episodes for season 7 from the 1966-1970 era.
PLEASE NOTE - it takes time for these updates to be registered by the TMDB API. It probably takes a few hours to a day but these episodes will start to be returned by the TMDB search that 9th Life makes at some time in the near future. My TMDB edits to date: 2,844
15-Jul-2026 tt0044272The Jackie Gleason Show
Update: 16th July 2026
I have now added 19 episodes for season 6 from the 1966-1970 era. By adding episodes I mean I have added the necessary information for the episode including air date etc and the IMDB number. There are other edits that can be made such as season/episode crew but that will be further hours work. I first want to make sure that all episodes at least have an entry.

15-Jul-2026 tt0044272The Jackie Gleason Show
Update: 16th July 2026
I have now added episodes for season 5 from the 1966-1970 era.

15-Jul-2026 tt0044272The Jackie Gleason Show
Update: 16th July 2026
Okay, adding episodes in seasons 1 to 4 makes sense because that takes this series to mid 1957. The show came back in 1962 as the American Scene Magazine (1962–1966) (which is on TMDB) then back again (sometimes referred to as The Color Honeymooners) (1966–1970). IMDB does have a seperate 4 seasons entry for this and I believe these are the four seasons missing from the TMDB entry. I will see what I can do about adding the seasons 5 to 8 for the 1966-1970 era.

15-Jul-2026 tt0044272The Jackie Gleason Show
Update: 16th July 2026, I have added 40 episodes for season 4 because there were none listed. It seems to me that IMDB episode titles and descriptions often refer to the Honeymooners sketches that were regular parts of the show.
After season 4 IMDB gets very sketchy on details and does not even have episodes set to season 5 or 6 etc. Unless I can find another source for season and episode details for this show, I am not sure how much more I can do to add details to TMDB.
My TMDB edits to date: 2,172
15-Jul-2026 tt0044272The Jackie Gleason Show
Update: 16th July 2026, I have added mising episodes for season 1 because there were only 15 episodes there with 25 episodes missing. My TMDB edits to date: 1,790
15-Jul-2026 tt0044272The Jackie Gleason Show
Update: 16th July 2026, I have added mising episodes for season 3 because there were only two episodes there with wrong air dates. My TMDB edits to date: 1,509
15-Jul-2026 tt0044272The Jackie Gleason Show
Update: 15th July 2026, I have added episodes for season 2 My TMDB edits to date: 1,191
15-Jul-2026 tt0044272The Jackie Gleason Show
This Jackie Gleason series ran from the 1950s to 1970s. From the 9th Life errors I see that no episodes were found for seasons 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Looking at TMDB it seems that those episodes have not yet been added. I will see what I can do to add at least some episodes but that is more than just copying and pasting an episode IMDB number.

15-Jul-2026 tt0041015Cavalcade Of The Stars
This caused a "movie not found" error. It is a 1940/1950s series which does have an entry on TMDB but the IMDB number was missing. I have now added tt0041015 as the series IMDB number and will later check what other details I can update for this series.
My TMDB edits to date: 830
1-Jul-2026 tt1143116La naissance du Grand Blond
A 43m short documentary film that was not on TMDB but I have added it today. It should start showing up in searches after a few hours.

13-Jun-2026 tt1888888 Episode dated 2 March 1999 of TV talk show Digan lo que digan
Update 29th June 2026 - I have added this series to TMDB but so far only two episodes. I am not sure how much more I can do because there are very few details on IMDB and 316 episodes which are not numbered on IMDB though they do seem to be named. When the episodes are not numbered it means I can not click the right arrow for next episode because it gives me another episode from maybe months away. My TMDB edits to date: 727
28-Jun-2026 tt0176463Assumed Innocence
This is an X rated video, not listed on TMDB. I have added it to TMDB today but it will take a little while for it to appear in search results.
27-Jun-2026 tt0734692The Twilight Zone
This worked fine for me when I checked it but it produced the following error for one user: 9th Life Alert: Series Error - Season 4 did not get valid API response for Series showID 6357. It seems TMDB had a temporary problem and in this case just did not give back a valid reply for season 3 and 4 of 5 seasons, thereby messing up the series download. I have updated the code so it will now make several attempts to get a valid response from TMDB for each season. I have seen this kind of error around once a month or so and hope the code update will prevent it from happening at all.
27-Jun-2026 tt0368786A Home on the Range: The Jewish Chicken Ranchers of Petaluma
This is on TMDB but it did not have any IMDB number assigned to it. I have now added the IMDB number so this will show up in searches in a little while when TMDB updates its database.
26-Jun-2026 tt0476026Time Machine: Running the DMZ - Korea on the Frontlines
I have now added this to TMDB but it takes a little while for it to show up in searches. I have made sure the IMDB number is there and correct, so it should start working soon.
24-Jun-2026 tt4238832Billy Joel: Live at Shea Stadium
This has two listings at IMDB and TMDB has the second listing which is an episode of Great Performances - same search as on 6th June and my advice is still to use tt1902399 instead. Though it is a series with many seasons, so pick season 39 which has this performance in episode 12.
12-May-2026 tt0068093Kung Fu (1972-1975)
This was my own search and was coming back with an odd result which did not look right. I found the series was on TMDB but the IMDB numbers of the first season were assigned to a duplicate. I have learned a few things here - 1. the correct procedure to report a duplicate on TMDB, 2. TMDB might spend 6 or more weeks to remove a duplicate, 3. I can effectively fix the problem by removing the IMDB numbers from the duplicate and assigning them to the actual series.
14-Jun-2026 tt0126429Midnight Snacks (1995)
This is an X rated video, not listed on TMDB. I have added it TMDB so, hopefully this should now work, though not many details available at all.
13-Jun-2026 tt1900000 Episode 40 Season 1 of TV Series Hand aufs Herz ( Heartbeat ).
This was listed on TMDB but the IMDB title number for this series was missing as were the numbers for the episodes. I have started updating all the IMDB title numbers for this.
Update on 15th June. I have finished adding all IMDB numbers to the 234 episodes. Somewhat tedious and repetitive work but not so bad on my laptop while watching TV. Three or four episodes had their IMDB number curiously already set to episodes on very obscure other series. I have removed those wrongly placed numbers and set the correct one for the obscure series, if it was on IMDB at all. Last episode 234 was not on TMDB, so I added it. One Episode on IMDB had an odd summary about fly fishing and a poster image to suit that. I have submitted updates to IMDB for that episode. Just goes to show that both TMDB and IMDB can have strange errors for some episodes.
13-Jun-2026 tt1888888 Episode dated 2 March 1999 of TV talk show Digan lo que digan
This is not on TMDB and does not have much information on IMDB. The talk show had 316 episodes 1997-1999. I have not tried adding anything to TMDB yet for this title.
12-Jun-2026 tt0147407The Secret (1990)
This is an X rated video, not listed on TMDB. I thought at the time that TMDB does not list such videos, but it seems it does. I will in future try to add them to TMDB, though details for such titles on IMDB are usually very sparse.
10-Jun-2026 tt00122278
This does not exist on IMDB. Incorrect title number.
07-Jun-2026 tt1256485 Episode 1, Season 1 of Zeit genug (1982) TV Series
Part of the data I updated on TMDB was the IMDB title number for each episode of Zeit genug. This and episodes should now work.
07-Jun-2026 tt0927098Zeit genug (1982) TV Series
I found that this was on TMDB but was missing the IMDB number. I added the IMDB number and other details.
06-Jun-2026 tt3962568192
This does not exist on IMDB. Incorrect title number.
06-Jun-2026 tt4238832Billy Joel: Live at Shea Stadium
This has two listings at IMDB and TMDB has the second listing which is an episode of Great Performances - my advice is to use tt1902399 instead. Though it is a series with many seasons, so pick season 39 which has this performance in episode 12.
04-Jun-2026 tt31975768Billy Joel: The 100th: Live at Madison Square Garden
This seemed to be an incorrect IMDB title number on TMDB for this title. When I checked, I could see that someone had updated the TMDB listing to have the correct IMDB title on 5th June.
26-May-2026 tt0140112HeadTalk (1991)
This is an X rated video, not listed on TMDB. I thought at the time that TMDB does not list such videos, but it seems it does. I will in future try to add them to TMDB, though details for such titles on IMDB are usually very sparse.
19-May-2026 tt29703523Caligula: The Ultimate Cut
Caligula is listed on TMDB, but not this cut. I noticed that someone on 19th May did add this to TMDB. I then started trying to help by adding as many details as I could. Next day, TMDB had removed this as a duplicate. My advice is to add the normal tt0080491 Caligula cut and change the runtime.
